End of line for Wyvern Car Park pulls in petrol heads
HUNDREDS of vehicles descended upon a town centre car park on Saturday in one final tribute to the spiritual home of Swindon’s modified car scene.
Wyvern Car Park, in Islington Street, will be demolished later this year and drivers from as far as Bristol and London wanted to pay their respects.
Jamie Antal, 27, a retail supervisor of Swindon, said: “When I heard it was going to be closed, we knew we needed to give it a bit of a send off.”
